A Moment of Joy with Daylong Daydreams
DaylongDaydreams.com is live & it makes me so happy!!! Building this site was a much needed visual therapy for me - there is nothing like bright colors & textures to spark my imagination!
A few years ago, I commissioned a large abstract painting from Amanda at Daylong Daydreams because I felt the desire to surround myself with something unique & meaningful to me that brought joy on a daily basis. I am really glad I made this investment in myself because years later I still feel these positive effects on my life, & it reminds me to slow down & appreciate the beauty all around us - which is more important than ever these days! Now I own four of Amanda's wonderful paintings, as well as a matching jewelry dish in "Jonathan colors" of deep red, gray, white, & black, with gold/silver metallic accents.
Both Amanda & I believe that art is deeply valuable & necessary to the human experience. So when Amanda asked me to create a new website for her business, I jumped at the opportunity because I knew the process would bring me a ton of JOY! Creating all the image galleries in this website was an absolutely delicious experience because it was truly amazing to see the totality of Amanda's work all in one place - the colors, textures, & style are all so incredibly personal, expressive, & playful - you can't help but feel all the good feels.
